Connected providers settings

Connect the tools you use

Add providers from settings. The companion extension can pass credentials to the local app when you are already signed in. Activity keeps alerts and connection events in one feed.

Questions

Where is my usage history stored?

On your machine, in local SQLite. Signing in can sync provider connections across devices — usage history does not upload with your account.

What stays local vs what syncs with my account?

Local on your device: usage history, refresh timelines, Activity events, and quota snapshots in SQLite. With your Vale account: email sign-in and provider connections so you can reconnect on another machine. Billing and plan status are handled when you start a trial or subscribe (Stripe or Paymob) — not your usage logs.

What does the browser extension do?

It is a credential connector. When you are already signed into a provider in the browser, it can send that session to the Vale app on localhost so you do not re-enter credentials in the desktop app.

Do I need an account?

Yes — email sign-in is required (one-time code or magic link). There is no guest mode. Usage history stays in local SQLite; provider connections sync with your Vale account. Free / Power billing is managed under Settings → Billing.

Which providers does Vale support?

See the current connect list in Providers. Logos on this page may also preview tools we are exploring — the strip expands over time.

What’s Free vs Power?

Free includes up to five active accounts (provider connections) and slower refresh. Power unlocks unlimited accounts, faster refresh, unlimited history, CSV export, weekly email digest, and more — details on Pricing and in Billing docs.
